San Pedrillo Station
This tour usually leaves at 7; 30am, going toward San Pedrillo Station, after arriving at the station, the guide will pick one of several trails in an area, the more convenient for the group and its ability to hike. For about 3 hours of hiking in the forest, you will enjoy the diversity in here: eight different habitats. Hikers will see the rich and varied vegetation. There are approximately 500 species of trees in the park, for example the giant mahogany reaches about 80 feet high, strangler fig trees, and unusual Garlic tree. A variety of birds can be found in here, over 360 types of birds. The park protects the largest population of limpets in the country. Commonly there are green parrots, hawks, kites, and a large variety of hummingbirds. During the hike you can see the four kinds of monkeys: howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys, spider monkeys, and squirrel monkeys.
